**First Time At Auction**

East Asia, China, ca. early to mid 20th century (pre-WWII) CE. A trio of nearly identical jade pendants, each carved from a creamy, pale green stone with gold- and bronze-colored swirls at their edges. Two are the same size and one is smaller; all three have tiny drilled holes for suspension at the top. Each is roughly ovoid with relief carving of a single flower, its bud still closed. Size of larger: 1.2" W x 2.2" H (3 cm x 5.6 cm)

Provenance: private Palm Springs, California, USA collection, acquired before 1965; ex-private American collection that left China in 1949
