Description:

Native American, North America, Archaic to Woodland period, ca. 5000 to 500 BCE. A beautiful gathering of twenty-five hand-knapped chert arrowheads and spear points ranging in colors from black, brown, and grey to citrine, coral, crimson, and wheat. Seven points have serrated edges and pronounced tail fins; three have pointed tips and nubbin-shaped fins; three have a smoky grey color and fractured fins; four are triangular in shape with no pronounced fin; three are ovoid in form with serrated edges and rounded butts; four are large and oblong with sharp, serrated edges; and one is slender, extremely sharp, and has a forked tail. Size of largest (oblong): 4.75" L x 2.25" W (12.1 cm x 5.7 cm).
