Pre-Columbian, Belize, ca. 0 to 500 CE. Two very fine chert uniface daggers of a type almost always found in riverbeds in Belize. First is gorgeous 2-toned with black blade and tan grip, other is a mottled tan. Black example is knapped primarily on one side and the other side flat except for the end of the grip. The tan example shows knapping on each side. Size: 8.25" L (21 cm) for longest.

Provenance: Ex - old Louisiana collection recovered from the New River Region prior to 1950
