Western Central Asia (Turkmenistan, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Russia), Turkoman (Turkmen) people, ca. early 20th century CE. A pair of lovely 94% silver bracelets of near identical form, each with relief diamonds and columns on its broad outer face; the interiors are smooth. The thick cuff style fits the Turkoman aesthetic, which includes large metal jewelry and other adornments to be worn by both men and women. Size of one (they are nearly identical): 2.5" W x 1.75" H (6.4 cm x 4.4 cm); silver is 94% pure; total weight of both together: 159.5 grams

  • Condition: One is in very good condition, while the other has some tears along its edges that make it more fragile. Both have small nicks and scratches commensurate with age. Although they are wearable, we caution that antique silver can be fragile and bending them is not advised. Old collection labels on interiors of both.
