Pair of ceramic tripod legged bowls, both showing brilliant red hues, the larger boasting a band of red on cream geometric motifs circumambulating its rim as well as elegant smoke clouds. The larger piece also serves as a rattle bowl; emitting soft percussive sounds produced by seeds. The smaller bowl has open legwork adding to its appealing aesthetic. 3-3/4"T x 7-1/4"D and 2-3/4"T x 6-1/4"D Provenance: Ex-Gilbert Martin collection, Georgia, US, acquired before 1990.
