Native American, United States, Paleo Indian to Woodland period, ca. 9000 to 500 BCE (11000 to 2500 BP). A nice collection of 17 hand-knapped stone projectile points displaying a great diversity of forms. The chert stone used for each piece has a lovely matte surface with hues of creamy white, pink, gray, and brown. A few of the identifiable types include Hickory Ridge, Duncan, Northern, Gary, Young, Kent, Table Rock Pointed Stem, and Kings form. Size of largest point: 2.75" L x 1.75" W (7 cm x 4.4 cm); size of case: 8.5" L x .8" W x 10.5" H (21.6 cm x 2 cm x 26.7 cm)
