Description:

Central Asia, Tibet, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. A cast-brass statue of a prince brandishing the upper shoulder of his dagger while seated with spread legs atop a tiered plinth. The figure is bedecked in finely detailed armor, wing-like shoulder pads, and an elaborate pectoral medallion, and his head is topped with an ornate headdress. The intimidating countenance presents with squinting eyes, a broad nose, and a slight grin, and his ears are embellished with enormous discoid earrings. Size: 3.9" W x 5.25" H (9.9 cm x 13.3 cm)
