Native American, Southwest, Plains Indians, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. An attractive pair of beaded deer or buffalo hide moccasins, lane-stitched with sinew and glass beads of pink, translucent red, translucent gold, black, and white hues across the vamp and around the ankle that are arranged in striking striated and tipi motifs. Both moccasins have rawhide soles and insteps. A handsome pair! Size: each measures ~ 8" L (20.3 cm)
