Description:

Roman Empire, Imperial Period, ca. 2nd to 4th century CE. This delicate pale blue-green, near-transparent glass vessel features a concave bottom with a stable ring base, a slender piriform body which gradually tapers to a narrow neck and a small mouth, a rounded in-folded rim, and two applied undulating trail handles. Two pieces of ancient material still rattle within the body cavity, and flaky rainbow iridescence covers the exterior surface. Size: 2.8" W x 5.85" H (7.1 cm x 14.9 cm).
