Southeast Asia, Cambodia, Khmer Empire (Angkor culture), ca. late 12th to early 13th century CE. A sizable cast bronze hoop ring with a thick band, central row of square-shaped low relief designs, and a top bulb-shaped knot resting on a diamond-shaped base. The surface has developed a vibrant layer of green and blue patina. Size: 2.375" H (6 cm).

Provenance: private Alpine, California, USA collection, acquired before 2000
