Description:

Ancient seas, ca. 2 million years ago. A lovely example of a Megalodon shark tooth that has turned a metallic shade of gray through the fossilization process. The minute serrations on the tooth edge, though dulled over the millennia, are still visibly and kinesthetically observable. The upper enamel portion also displays a plethora of vertical striations and areas of roughness, which are two additional results of fossilization. Size: 4.375" H (11.1 cm).
