Description:

Native American, Southwestern United States, New Mexico / Colorado, Apache, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. A fine Apache basket made from sumac and/or willow rod foundations with stitched splints made from natural sumac that have been dyed hues of black and green. The rim is finished with plaiting, and is in excellent condition, the surface has a nice luster and patina throughout. Size: 18" Diameter x 5.5" H (45.7 cm x 14 cm)
