Ancient Near East, Holyland, Canaanite, Late Bronze II, ca. 1400 to 1200 BCE. A lovely pottery storage jar featuring a planar base and thick walls that span outward to a bulbous body and a broad rounded shoulder, all surmounted by a flared spout. A thick pair of vertical handles flank the vessel, projecting outward from the curved shoulder. Size: 8.5" L x 9.4" W x 10" H (21.6 cm x 23.9 cm x 25.4 cm)
