Ancient Near East, Seleucid Empire, Kings of Syria, Seleukis, ca. 105 to 82 BCE. AR tetradrachm (14.9 g). Obverse: Veiled, turreted and draped bust of Tyche right, bead and reel border. Reverse: Thunderbolt resting atop draped throne; below, date; all within laurel wreath. Nice dark highlights both obv. and rev. HGC 9 1382. Size: 1.15" W (2.9 cm)

Tyche, the daughter of Aphrodite and either Zeus or Hermes (depending on the story), was the guardian and patron of cities. During the Hellenistic period, each city venerated its own version of Tyche. In artwork from this time, she is often depicted, as she is here, with a crown resembling city walls.
