Southeast Asia, Cambodia, ca. 11th century CE. Spectacular sandstone section of a lintel decorated with central image of seated Krishna, surrounded by floral elements. Brought out of Cambodia using elephant laborers, in the 1940's. A large and heavy section. Size: 24"H x 22-1/2" W x 7" in diameter.
