Holy Land, Palestine, Judaea, Second Revolt or Bar Kokhba War, ca. 132 to 135 CE. Medium bronze coinage, type B, third coinage period, AE 24, undated issue of year 3 struck 134 to 135 CE. Obverse: Legend 'For the Freedom of Jerusalem' vine leaf, all within a border of dots. Reverse: Palm tree of seven branches, below Hebrew legend 'Shim'on.' The coin is set into a modern 58.7% gold (equivalent to 14K+) setting with three faceted diamonds set into the bail loop. Suspended on a modern cord, this a beautiful piece of wearable currency and history. Size of coin: .875" W (2.2 cm); size of pendant: 1" W (2.5 cm); cord: 21" L (53.3 cm); total weight: 16.1 grams; quality of gold: 58.7% (equivalent to 14K+); each diamond: .01 carat
