East Asia, Japan, Meiji era, ca. late 19th to early 20th century CE. A collection of 12 sterling silver tea spoons- each with floral and foliate decoration on the handles, perhaps influenced by the Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts movements. Character hallmarks are stamped within recessed rectangles on the neck just before the bowls. Comes in a antique / vintage wood box with a velvet lining. Size: 4.3" L x 1" W (10.9 cm x 2.5 cm)
