East Asia, Japan, later Edo Period, ca. 18th to early 19th century CE. A complete set of everything you'll ever need - ivory chopsticks and an ivory and wood handled knife, both made to fit within a single custom sheath covered in sharkskin with brass bands at regular intervals. The knife handle and the top of the chopsticks both have small decorative flourishes and the entire piece exemplifies the Edo Period aesthetic of high quality materials and elegant craftsmanship. Size when all pieces are inside the sheath: 0.9" W x 11.9" H (2.3 cm x 30.2 cm)

This is an ESA antique exempt piece of ivory and cannot be sold internationally or to anyone residing in the states of California, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, and Washington. We guarantee that the piece is over 100 years old.
