Pre-Columbian, Ecuador, Jamacoaque (Jama Coaque) culture, ca. 500 BCE to 500 CE. A set of 3 pottery compositions from ancient Ecuador - a standalone finely modeled head with cicatrices; a female bust wearing an intricate necklace; and a standing figure wearing an abstract zoomorphic costume, perhaps depicting a frog with an extended tongue. Size of largest (standalone head): 2" L x 2.25" W x 2.3" H (5.1 cm x 5.7 cm x 5.8 cm); 5.625" H (14.3 cm) on included custom stand.
