Pre-Columbian, Ecuador, Jamacoaque (Jama Coaque), ca. 500 BCE to 500 CE; Southern Mexico to Guatemala, Maya, Late Classic Period, ca. 550 to 900 CE. A set of 6 mold-formed pottery stamping devices, 5 from the Jamacoaque culture and 1 stamp from the ancient Maya. The rectangular Maya stamp features a depiction of an abstract headdress or deity face, and the Jamacoaque rollers and spindle whorls are incised with elaborate curvilinear patterns. Size of largest: 2" W x 2" H (5.1 cm x 5.1 cm)
