Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Jalisco, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A hand-built pottery figure of a nude woman bearing enormous breasts and shoulder cicatrices. Her petite arms hang off the sides of her breasts while generous eye lids, a prominent nose, cupped ears, and a minimalist brow band comprised her face. Size: 3" L x 6.375" W x 9.375" H (7.6 cm x 16.2 cm x 23.8 cm)

Provenance: Private Reinsmoen collection, Clear Lake, Iowa, acquired through descent from Robert Anderson, acquired prior to 2000.
