Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Jalisco, ca. 200 BCE to 200 CE. A pair of pottery female figures, both shown standing nude with arms to sides and displaying shapely thighs, voluptuous breasts, and elongated heads. Each adorned in white and red pigments, the larger is additionally embellished with black slip forming an intricate, linear design on her bosom and covering her coiffure. Size of larger (one with black pigment): 1.3" L x 3.4" W x 5.2" H (3.3 cm x 8.6 cm x 13.2 cm)

Provenance: private Lumberton, Texas, USA collection, acquired before 2010
