Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Jalisco, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE. A hand-built and highly burnished pottery female figure kneeling atop folded legs while adorned in dense cream-hued stripes, spots, and bands. The woman presents with hands at her hips, a forward gaze behind a prominent, ring-adorned nose, and a finely striated coiffure surmounted by a knobbed olla. Size: 4" L x 6.375" W x 11.6" H (10.2 cm x 16.2 cm x 29.5 cm)
