A sweet glimpse at maternal love, a hand-built bichrome terracotta figural ensemble depicting a kneeling mother tenderly holding her child to her chest. Both figures present characteristic Jalisco features including an elongated head, prominent nose, coffee bean shaped applied eyes and mouth. The mother is bedecked with a grand headdress and earspools. A touching rendition. Size: 4.875" H (12.4 cm)
