Islamic, probably central Asia, ca. 9th to 12th century CE. Scarce white glass medallion with a slaughter scene. Impressed design of man with an axe is preparing to slay a horned animal - perhaps a moufflon. Size: 1-3/4" in diameter (4.4 cm). Custom stand.
