Near East, Persia (Iran), probably Nishapur, ca. late 10th century to early 13th century CE. An attractive ceramic bowl with a deep well, a short raised foot, and a rim pinched in four equidistant places - covered in a gorgeous green glaze and incised with an abstract sun-like motif on the tondo and double frets alternating with loose squiggles around the inner walls. Size: 4.375" W x 2" H (11.1 cm x 5.1 cm)
