Charlie Inukpuk (First Nations Canadian, Inuit, 1941 to present) ca. late 20th century CE. A charming soapstone seal carving signed with the disc number "E-9906" and Inuktitut syllabics for the artist Charlie Inukpuk. The seal is displayed on a piece of whalebone like an ice floe, the bone is not original to the carving but added as a fitting base. Size: 8" L x 6.25" W x 4" H (20.3 cm x 15.9 cm x 10.2 cm)
