Ancient Central Asia, India, Gangetic Basin, Copper Hoard Culture, ca. 1000 BCE. A cast-copper spear head with a thick tang meant to be affixed into the socketing shaft of a lengthy pole. The tapered triangular blade features sharpened edges and a pointed tip, and a thick midrib courses down the entire length. Lustrous patina in green and brown hues envelops the entire weapon and makes for a wonderful presentation piece. Size: 12.125" L x 1.7" W (30.8 cm x 4.3 cm)
