Description:

Pre-Columbian, North Coast Peru, Inca, ca. 15th to 16th century CE. A hand built pottery vessel with a carinated body resting on a short foot. The stirrup spout handle has a small monkey perched to the side of the spout. The surface is slipped in a red-orange hue and fineline geometric motifs are painted in black over the creamy white and orange surface. Size: 6" Diameter x 9" H (15.2 cm x 22.9 cm)
