Pre-Columbian, Northern Mexico, Chihuahua region, Casas Grandes, ca. 1100 to 1450 CE. A hand-built pottery bowl of sizable form with a round but stable base and a thick rim. The beige-hued buffware is decorated within the basin with dense linear and spiraling patterns while the exterior bears additional areas of red pigment to create a dazzling presentation. Size: 10.50" Diameter x 4.8" H (26.7 cm x 12.2 cm)
