Wonderful large bronze attachment in circular form of a warrior on horseback, his faithful dog at his horse's feet, a long spear in his hand and object of his wrath standing in front; tree and other objects in the field. Lynch, remarks, Urartu was "no obscure dynasty which slept secure behind the mountains, but a splendid monarchy which for more than two centuries rivalled the claims of Assyria to the dominion of the ancient world."
