Northern Europe, Denmark, Neolithic Period, ca. 6000 to 4500 BCE. A lovely knapped flint blade of lengthy, trapezoidal form exhibiting a stocky handle, a narrow butt end, and an acutely-angled blade edge. Wondrous smoky gray hues have developed as the stone has patinated over the millennia. Size: 8" L x 3" W (20.3 cm x 7.6 cm)
