United States, Arizona, Triassic period, ca. 250 to 200 million years before present (BP). Huge and gorgeous thick slice of Araucarioxylon arizonicum. Araucarioxylon arizonicum is estimated to have grown more than 150 feet high and dominated the tropical forests in what is now Arizona nearly 250 million years ago. With deep hues of red, brown, orange and areas of white with edges showing the original fossilized bark. This section would make an absolutely beautiful table or section of counter top. Size: 40.25" W x 28.5" H (102.2 cm x 72.4 cm)
