Pre-Columbian, Colombia, San Agustin, Horqueta-Primavera Period, ca. 1000 to 1500 CE. A brownware terracotta vessel with a rounded base, a twin-headed serpent wrapped around the shoulder, a wide mouth, and a flared rim. A bowl-shaped lid with a flared rim sits atop the vessel. Size (bowl): 4.25" H (10.8 cm); bowl with lid: 6" H (15.2 cm).
