Native American, Southwestern United States, Tohono O'odham (Papago) & Hopi, ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A pair of hand-woven basketry pieces - a large Papago tray and a small Hopi wall plaque, both coiled from plant fibers - thick bundles of grasses covered with dyed yucca leaves. Size of tray: 13.5" Diameter (34.3 cm); plaque: 7" Diameter (17.8 cm)
