Ancient Near East, Holyland, Late Bronze Age, Deir Samit, Judea, ca. 1500 to 1250 BCE. A lovely limestone cosmetic dish presenting a hemispherical body with a flattened top and a depression at the center. Incised grooves wrap horizontally around the exterior, accentuating its annular form. Size: 3.5" Diameter x 1" H (8.9 cm x 2.5 cm); 3.9" H (9.9 cm) on included custom stand.
