A hand-built pottery cup of utilitarian form with a round but stable base, a shallow basin surrounded by a flared rim, and a thick handle with a thumb rest. Size: 4.8" L x 4" W x 2.375" H (12.2 cm x 10.2 cm x 6 cm)

Provenance: ex-private Bishop Family Trust collection, the Trust of the late Bill Bishop, a noted antiquarian with shops in Scottsdale, Arizona and Allenspark, Colorado, USA, acquired before 2010

Abrasions and nicks commensurate with age, with calcifications and earthen deposits, and light staining on some exterior areas, otherwise in very good condition.
