Description:

**First Time At Auction**

Ancient Near East, Holyland, Early Bronze Age II, ca. 2900 to 2650 BCE. A delightful pottery feeder vessel adorned with vertical black-on-red stripes that nicely complement its rotund form. Sitting upon a planar base, the ancient vessel is surmounted by a flared rim flanked by 2 petite loop handles as a curved spout rises from the shoulder. A vessel like this example would have been used to feed milk to a baby or toddler in the Early Bronze Age. Size: 4.5" Diameter x 4" H (11.4 cm x 10.2 cm)
