Ancient Near East, Holy Land, Early Bronze Age II, ca. 3000 to 2700 BCE. A simple and elegant vessel with a curved handle and slightly flared rim. This style of vessel is known as "Abydos Ware", so named by early archaeologists who first found them in mortuary contexts in Egypt - but they were made in the Holy Land. Size: 5" W x 8.5" H (12.7 cm x 21.6 cm)
