Ancient Greece, Hellenistic Period, ca. 3rd to 1st century BCE. A wheel-thrown redware cup with a petite base, tall walls, a thin rim, and a pair of applied loop handles of a thick composition. The highly-burnished exterior boasts a lovely rust-hued color that gives it a classic Hellenistic presentation. Size: 5.55" W x 2.8" H (14.1 cm x 7.1 cm).
