Pre-Columbian, Mexico, Mixtec, Postclassic Period, ca. 1100 to 1450 CE. A set of 3 hand-built pottery vessels from ancient Mexico including 2 bowls and a squat jar. The basin of each bowl is decorated with brown foliage motifs, and each rests on a trio of nubbin feet. The largest vessel is the inverted piriform jar with 3 pierced suspension lugs and curvilinear motifs coursing across the shoulder. Size of largest: 4.125" W x 4.25" H (10.5 cm x 10.8 cm)
