Description:

Ancient Greece, Classical Period, ca. 6th to 5th century BCE. A hollow-molded votive figure depicting a seated female wearing a lengthy chiton and himation while holding her arms elegantly atop her thighs. The woman sits atop an integral throne and wears a broad diadem atop her neatly arranged coiffure replete with bangs draped atop her shoulders. Traces of white pigment suggest this votive was painted in bright pigments at one time. Size: 1.6" W x 3.7" H (4.1 cm x 9.4 cm)
