Pamphylia was a region of Asia Minor that ran from the Mediterranean to Mount Taurus, and Aspendos was a major city within it. Its coinage is widely spread throughout the Classical World, emphasizing the power and importance of the city. These coins celebrate the feats of the Olympic Games.
