Greek, Magna Graecia, Ca. 350 BCE. Large Greek wine container with pinched bottom (to allow for impurities to settle), bulbous body, cylindrical neck with flared rim, and twin handles. Pythos is slipped in white paint, albeit very aged, darker than white now.  With proper restoration, this is easily a $2000 piece!  Size:  17" H.  Provenance: Ex-private TJ Die collection, Houston, TX.
