Magna Graecia, South Italic, ca. 350 BCE. A very large wine cup, perfect for all you oenophiles, this fine stemmed black glazed kylix (drinking cup) boasts an attractive form with a raised stem, a pair of gently sweeping loop handles, the wide shallow body with a corseted shoulder and slightly flaring rim, and a beautiful surface, as the black glaze has oxidized to an iridescent silvery finish. Size: 7" W x 2.625" H (17.8 cm x 6.7 cm)
