Greece, Corinth, ca. 6th century BCE. A Corinthian Geometric skyphos with loop handles, the body decorated in red and black on a buff ground, the upper register with a loose zigzag motif, a red band at center, and black band at the lower end - these three registers separated by thin black lines. The underside presents a raised target-like motif on the concave base. The handles show traces of red and black pigment. Size: 3.125" W handlespan x 1.25" H (7.9 cm x 3.2 cm)
