Description:

Ancient Greece, Laconian, ca. 600 BCE. A large polychrome terracotta bowl of a rounded form with a flared rim, twin loop handles, and a concave flared foot. The surface is beautifully decorated with red and chocolate brown bands that wrap around the upper section of the exterior walls as well as just above the foot, with a ray pattern between. The underside features a circular makers mark. Size: 10.25" W x 3.875" H (26 cm x 9.8 cm)
