Ancient Greece, Cyprus (modern Greece/Turkey), late Cypriot I, ca. 1600 to 1050 BCE. A graceful pottery pitcher boasting an elegant silhouette with a broad hip that dramatically narrows to an elongated tubular neck and flared spout, all sitting upon a petite base. This vessel likely served to hold precious oils for anointing or to be used as perfumes. Size: 6.3" Diameter x 8.6" H (16 cm x 21.8 cm)
