Description:

Greece, Tanagra, Boeotia, ca. 2nd century BCE. A mold-made, redware votive statue of the god Eros wearing his distinctive pointed Phrygian cap. This is a depiction of a young Eros, unique to the Boetians, that incorporates the phallic symbol of the hat atop his head. Clearly rendered are details of his cloak, and one hand raised to hold it together. Size: 1.45" W x 5.6" H (3.7 cm x 14.2 cm)

Figures like these would have been sold outside of temples by artisans who mass-produced them; they were taken into the temples and placed as votive offerings, or sometimes buried with the dead.
