Description:

Greek, attributed to the F.B. Group, ca. early 4th century BCE. With trefoil lip, the body decorated with the winged Eros holding a strigil in his right hand, standing between two draped youths, one holding an aryballos in his right hand, ground line of egg and dart, band of foliate scrolls on the shoulder. Attributed to the F.B. Group (Fat-Boy Group - Fat Boy as most of his figures are short and pudgy), cf. J. D. Beazley, Attic Red-Figure Vase Painters, II, 2nd ed., Oxford, 1963, pp. 1484-1495.
